Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and product development, and well-versed in managing clients and an engineering team?

Since we were founded in 2002, eg has grown organically and profitably and is now a thriving company with a team of over 40 people.

Job Overview:

The successful applicant will join our Project Management team to lead multi-disciplinary product development projects, ensuring technical integration across engineering disciplines. You will drive project delivery on time and within budget while maintaining technical cohesion and keeping stakeholders informed.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

A confident and excellent communicator who strives to successfully deliver projects. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and aptitudes:

  1. You have professional expertise including mechatronics or electronics and/or embedded software development.

  2. You have extensive experience in planning and managing projects and people.

  3. You have extensive experience of managing technical interfaces across multi-disciplinary product development teams to plan, identify and manage the challenges this brings in the delivery of a successful project.

  4. You have a track record in the planning, management, and delivery of product development projects with in-depth experience of phases of the product development process from concept to manufacture.

  5. You should ideally have experience of project management in a regulated environment in which design lifecycles are in accordance with current applicable regulations, industry and/or harmonised standards.

  6. You show excellent communication and people skills to co-ordinate project teams, including clients and suppliers, throughout the life of a project.

  7. You have an action-oriented approach, demonstrating energy, ownership, and a solutions-focused mindset to drive momentum, unlock innovation, and deliver tangible results.

  8. You bring a forward-thinking attitude – proactive, inquisitive, and passionate about creating solutions.

  9. You have a 2:1 or above honours degree in an appropriate scientific or engineering discipline.
